GENERAL OBJECTIVES
This training course aims to provide participants with an introductory view of project management, specifically the frameworks generally recognized for project management, areas of knowledge and good project management practices. The basic concepts that will be analysed in the course are those of project quality, resources, communications, acquisitions and the areas and processes of knowledge and management of stakeholders.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
- Articulate the relevance of fundamental project management skills;
- Describe a project life cycle, map and characterize each stage of the cycle;
- Identify the main artifacts used in the different stages of a project;
- Understand the main references of project management;
- Understand the good practices to start, plan, monitor, control and close projects;
- Articulate the scope of the product / project – creating a project initiation document;
- Become familiar with the requirements collection and analysis process;
- Create a WBS and the dictionary for the project;
- Classify risks and understand the risk management process of a project;
- Understand the main challenges of managing change;
- Understand the integration of a project manager in an agile project environment.
