Preparing for the PMI-ACP® (Agile Certified Practitioner) certification

GENERAL OBJECTIVES
This course is designed to help participants understand the concepts of agile project management and to prepare them for the PMI-ACP® certification exam.
At the end of this course, you should feel comfortable using agile methodologies in your projects and when you are participating in or leading an agile project.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
- Apply the knowledge and skills learned in this Course;
- Understand the agile manifesto and it’s principles;
- Explain the framework for managing agile projects and the life cycle;
- Identify and distinguish different Agile methodologies;
- Identify and characterize the main Agile tools and techniques;
- Demonstrate the ability to lead Agile project teams;
- Apply your knowledge and skills to projects;
- Prepare for the PMI-ACP® exam.
REQUIREMENTS
There are no prerequisites for attending the course. Anyone interested in developing knowledge in project management and agile approaches will benefit from the course.
- For PMP-ACP® certification:
12 months of project experience in the last 5 years;
8 months of experience in agile projects in the last 3 years.
