GENERAL OBJECTIVES
Since their creation, Agile methodologies have become popular with a wide variety of organizations and projects. Traditional Project Managers are making the transition to agile environments and this course addresses the need of those who work in contexts of elements and need to be agile. The objective of this course is to discover and explore these components, principles and processes in order to be an effective project manager in an agile environment.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
- Understand the agile landscape in project management and the differences between traditional and alternative approaches.
- Recognize Agile values and principles and how they complement the concepts of project management.
- Apply agile principles in the project management arena.
- Determine how the characteristics of a project dictate the right structure for project planning, management and control.
- Define the benefits of using an agile approach to manage projects.
- Recognize the fundamentals for establishing, managing and training agile teams.
- Apply continuous planning, collaboration and transparency techniques.
- Understand how to monitor and measure the agile project and the team’s performance.

There are no requirements for attending the course – general prior knowledge about project management is recommended.
